I believe that a lawyer must be actively involved in her professional community, and that life is about making a difference. I am one of the founders of Kids' Turn, a program for separating families begun in San Francisco which has expanded exponentially in size and in quality of service to children and families. I was one of the founders of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals and served for eight years as co-editor of its journal, The Collaborative Review. I have had leadership roles in my professional organizations at local, state national and international levels, and am a past president of the Northern California chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. I am also co-founder and current director of The Northern California Family Law Mediators Roundtable.
I have been given an "AV" rating by Martindale-Hubbell and in 2010 was named one of the top 100 lawyers in all fields of practice in Northern California by Law and Politics Publications ("Super Lawyers). I was also selected by Super Lawyers as one of the top 50 female lawyers in Northern California in all areas of practice for six years in a row.
